Decided to continue with the short story route, and found a competition I got a little excited about…until I read the rules. Previously published writers cannot enter. That excludes me from most competitions of this nature, which is a shame. I can see the point of this with respect to novels and the like, but not short stories. I had such a good idea, too (for a change). Shame.
I’m keeping this short, as I’m currently getting beaten on three games of Scrabble on Facebook and I need to get back there! Further to yesterday’s odds and ends, I’m hoping to hear my web-designers thoughts on the site redesign (yay!) and I got a large amount of free dog food after complaining about their poor quality, damaged cans. I even heard from the Honey Monster (don’t ask – my sister says I’m sad, so I shouldn’t relate the story to you).
